Dear Fellow Comic:One behalf of the Board of Directors of the CCA, I would like to invite you to the Eighth Annual Christian Comedy Conference in Southern California on June 2nd & 3rd, 2008. The CCA Conference provides an unequaled opportunity to learn about the business of Comedy, see old friends; meet new ones, and fellowship with other believers who share similar talents, aspirations, and concerns.
We have worked for several months to put together an exciting and focused agenda bringing together Elite Comedy writers such as Mr. Gene Perret and Ms. Martha Bolton; The Producer of Thou Shalt Laugh, Mr. Jonathan Bock; and Pastor Jim Garlow, Senior Pastor of the Famous Skyline Church in San Diego and an "in demand" author and speaker. We hope you will have an interesting, challenging, and educational few days.
Anyone who attends will receive a copy of Mr. Gene Perret’s latest book courtesy of New Missions International.
We also extend a warm invitation to all the spouses and the family members of the comedians. We do have you in mind and we have a workshop that is specifically designed for you.
You can register online or you can register when you arrive. Registration will be held at Cornerstone church in Anaheim on Sunday June 1st at 5:00 PM, followed by the Best of the Best in Christian Comedy showcase at 7:30 PM. The Showcase will star Chonda Pierce, Anthony Griffith, and other surprise guests.
June 2nd & 3rd will be filled with general sessions, workshops, and showcases that I do hope you plan extra days stay to enjoy Southern California.
